Your information.
If you contact Geoff through this website, your information is used to answer your request. The form does not sign you up for marketing.
What the form collects
The form asks for your name, what you need help with (buying, selling, a price opinion on your home, or just exploring), an optional property address or neighborhood (required if you ask what your home could sell for), your preferred reply method, either a mobile number or email address, and any optional note you choose to include. It also records basic page and campaign information: the landing page, any link tags that say where a link was shared, and the general kind of site that sent you, such as Google, Bing, Instagram, or an AI assistant like ChatGPT. Only that general label is kept, not the address of the page you came from. This helps Geoff understand how people found the site.
How it is used
Your information is used to give you the one direct reply you requested, operate and protect the form, troubleshoot delivery, and understand which site sources are useful. The form does not enroll you in recurring marketing, and submitted information is not sold or rented.
Website analytics
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and understand how its pages perform. Cloudflare receives limited page-load and technical performance information through its analytics beacon. It does not track individual visitors across different Cloudflare customers, and this site does not use the analytics data for advertising profiles.
The site also counts taps on its text, call, email, and form links. These records include the type of link, its position on the page (such as the header or floating contact button), the page, and limited source and landing-page information. The site also counts when the browser receives confirmation that a form question was accepted. That count can miss confirmations if analytics are blocked; it is separate from the actual inquiry record. A tap does not tell Geoff whether you sent a message or completed a call. These tap records do not contain your name, contact details, message, or raw IP address. Cloudflare briefly uses the connection’s IP address to limit repeated counting requests; the site does not add it to the tap records. These limits do not block texting, calling, or submitting a question.
Your browser stores the first page and source of your visit for the current tab session so that information can accompany a form request. After a confirmed form submission, this tab also stores a limited list of confirmation identifiers to avoid counting the same confirmation twice, along with the time and your chosen reply channel for the current tab session, so it can remind you that the website accepted your question. That reminder stores no name, phone number, email address, or message. You can turn off contact-link and form-confirmation counting or turn it back on. These links return you to the homepage. Your browser keeps that choice until it is cleared or changed.
Spam protection and service providers
The site uses Cloudflare infrastructure and Cloudflare Turnstile to protect the form from abuse. Those systems may process technical information such as an IP address and browser signals for security. The lead record does not store your raw IP address.
When you send the form, your name, reply contact, address or area, and up to 350 characters of your note are copied to Geoff’s private alert in Apple Messages. This helps him see your question and reply. Those alert copies and his local business record are separate from the website delivery copy and may remain after that copy is deleted.
How long information is kept
Submitted details are kept only as long as reasonably needed to deliver and document the requested reply, protect the form, and resolve delivery issues. Once delivery to Geoff’s system is confirmed, personal details in the website delivery copy are scheduled for removal after 30 days. Undelivered copies remain available to resolve delivery issues. Geoff may keep his own business record of the conversation, like any direct client contact. Limited non-identifying source and campaign statistics may be kept longer.
Your choices
You can skip the form and contact Geoff directly by text, call, or email. To ask about information you submitted or request its deletion, email geoff@geoffbey.com.
Do Not Track
This site does not change its behavior in response to browser Do Not Track signals. It does not use advertising or cross-site tracking. You can turn off contact-link and form-confirmation counting using the choice described above.
Changes
If this page changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
